So, I'll leave this blog here on the bloggysphere as an archive, but won't post again ... at least, not in the foreseeable future. If anyone stumbles upon it, I hope and pray it will be a blessing!
Amy Carmichael: "Father, I'm not soaring today. Help me."
God: "Daughter, soaring is not always flying high above the world. Sometimes one is soaring only two feet above the ground, just enough to keep you from getting tangled in the thorns and crashing against the rocks."

What a melancholy thing it is to come upon a place where a vital mind once lived! Particularly so when the life has left the place behind, so that it stands as a monument to say, "This is as I once was. Who can say what I am now, or will be?"
Nevertheless, I leave a note here to indicate that for a brief moment it was part of my life too, one that gave me pause to reflect and consider the individual who once lived here. And I thought that small happenstance worthy of a (yet smaller) commemoration. For all that comes after--godspeed!
Thank you for your comment, Matthew. I'm glad my blog gave you "pause to reflect." May you, too, be blessed!
