- ... driving a car in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
- ... waiting to board an airplane, eating chocolate-chip-cookies and drinking 'Dr Peppers'. (Obviously, I believe in healthy eating and drinking ... !)
- ... riding an exercise bike.
- ... riding (not driving!) a quad-bike.
- ... sitting or standing in a waiting room, to see a doctor, eye doctor, dentist, etc. ...
- ... peeling potatoes, cutting carrots, frying onions, etc. ...
- ... mowing the grass.
- ... baby-sitting.
- ... sitting up in a tree-house.
- ... playing hide-and-seek or kick-the-can (although this doesn't make for a great relationship with the other players) ...
- ... hiking.
- ... horseback-riding.
- ... sailing.
- ... riding in a 'plane in heavy turbulence (for instance, while circling over Washington Dulles Airport in a thunderstorm).
- ... doing the above and trying to open a can of 'Sprite' simultaneously. (I don't recommend this ... it can ruin any book - great or indifferent!)
