15 Ways to Read a Great Book

How many ways are there to read a great book? In my not-so-humble-opinion, it's possible to read a great book (or an indifferent book, but there usually isn't so much incentive in that case!) while ...
  1. ... driving a car in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
  2. ... waiting to board an airplane, eating chocolate-chip-cookies and drinking 'Dr Peppers'. (Obviously, I believe in healthy eating and drinking ... !)
  3. ... riding an exercise bike.
  4. ... riding (not driving!) a quad-bike.
  5. ... sitting or standing in a waiting room, to see a doctor, eye doctor, dentist, etc. ...
  6. ... peeling potatoes, cutting carrots, frying onions, etc. ...
  7. ... mowing the grass.
  8. ... baby-sitting.
  9. ... sitting up in a tree-house.
  10. ... playing hide-and-seek or kick-the-can (although this doesn't make for a great relationship with the other players) ...
  11. ... hiking.
  12. ... horseback-riding.
  13. ... sailing.
  14. ... riding in a 'plane in heavy turbulence (for instance, while circling over Washington Dulles Airport in a thunderstorm).
  15. ... doing the above and trying to open a can of 'Sprite' simultaneously. (I don't recommend this ... it can ruin any book - great or indifferent!)
